Sgt. Mabon Briola, an infantryman with 4th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, holds a completed prototype of his invention, the Weapon Face Shield, which mounts on the top of turret gunners’ weapons and protects their face while still giving them a clear view of everything in front of them.
